Lynda Russell, MS, DVM

Dr. Russell joined our team in October 2020. Prior to becoming a Veterinarian, she received her Master’s in Biological Sciences from Florida Atlantic University and worked as a Biologist in the Greater Everglades as part of an environmental restoration project. She graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 with a focus in Zoologic Medicine, followed by a rotating small animal internship at Blue Pearl Veterinary Specialists in Atlanta. Dr. Russell enjoys seeing dog and cat patients as well as a wide variety of exotic animals, including reptiles, small mammals, chickens, ferrets, and even fish!

She has 3 well-loved cats at home: Dante, Beatrice, and Uncle Petunio plus two freshwater aquariums. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Russell likes practicing yoga, and spending time learning to kayak with her husband, Zach.
